Hey there!  I'm Danielle, a 21-year licensed hairstylist, published author and owner of  The Executive Lounge hair salon. Thank you for visiting!

 

As a former corporate fashion exec, I opened The Executive Lounge because I wanted a space where my professional sisters felt appreciated.  They make major contributions to their careers, businesses, families and communities but unfortunately, often go unnoticed, dismissed or undervalued.   

 

This "hits home" for me because it is my story, too.  

 

Throughout my corporate career, I endured the same challenges and longed for a safe space where I could go to fully express myself, learn and share with those who were just like me.  It would be a  judgement-free zone or club house of sorts, where my comrades and I exchange ideas, support one another and obtain the information we needed in order to look and feel our best.  We could feel empowered and beautiful!  I never found that place, but when I decided hairdressing was my new path, the need to create one was top priority for me.
